Juan Pablo Echeverri exhibit in Barcelona

We are pleased to present the work of Colombian artist Juan Pablo Echeverri “Todo X El Pelo” (All X Hair) to be exposed in Barcelona from May 15 to June 5, 2013, which we have been involved printing the work “Peloquitas”. Organized by CIS Art Lodgers.

Using photography and video as media, mainstream pop and youth culture, the attitudes of people and characters, stereotypes, fashion and style, music and the media as sources of inspiration, the construction of social roles as gender, profession, sexual preference or apparent age as sites of a questionable status quo, and games and mechanical methodology of desire as body language are the elements from which the universe Echeverri is Builded up.
