The Private Space – Sfera Print Space, S.L. Do not respect copyrightOnce more, our small workshop GraficArtPrints and specifically part of the contents of our website, are not only taken as a source of information by our competitors but are literally copied by some of them.

On other occasions we had met with websites, where the texts were clearly inspired by those created by us, but this time the company Sfera Print Space, SL, owner of theprivatespace domain dot com and theprivaspacebcn dot com, in the section The Private Space Fine Art Lab (print> fine art lab), under the heading “Giclée Printing” the published text, is not just an inspiration of ours, but it is a clear usurpation of our rights of authorship, as it is almost literally copied.

In the comparative picture of texts, can be seen in the copy, not only the message is the same, but the word order is exactly like the original created by GraficArtPrints. They surprises us with the “multidisciplinary” job of cut and paste by the multidisciplinary team who claim to be part of of.

As usual in these cases, shamelessness comes in “Legal Notice” text in their site, where they state the content (including texts) are their property.

On the other hand, I would like to argue the technical approach they claim in the same text that through the use of “ColorGATE Rip software” they can ensure the color fidelity. One thing has nothing to do with the other. Any printer on the “amateur” range (without any rip), working on fixed parameters, is able to print an infinite number of prints with no color variation from first to last. That’s what digitial world is about…
