We regret to inform that we have stopped using Moab Entrada paper by American manufacturer Legion.
As noted in our post “Moab Entrada at the permanent stock of GraficArtPrints”, thickness and flatness of the paper is excellent and scuffing resistance unparalleled, but the lack of consistency in manufacturing and a questionable quality control, has not passed our standards.
The first rolls we’ve been working with, we have detected an alarming rate of dark particles embedded in its fibers, whose made us discard many prints.
Before starting business with the European distributor we asked, which was their position if ever should meet a manufacturing defect. His answer was “… we have one or two claims per year, however, we do stand behind our paper and replace every qualified claim. So if there are any problems or claims from your side we will find a way to solve your problems to your complete satisfaction.”
After sending the photographs shown below to the European distributor, we had some ambiguous answers from Moab USA and finally the most absolute silence from the European distributor.
LifeFoto and Michael Verhoelen has let us down. Not keeping his business previous word “…we will find a way to solve your problems to your complete satisfaction.”

Very subtle dark spot but at a magnum size. At right displays the same Moab Entrada spot failure through the light.
